Bartaco Backs Out Of Nyack River Club Takeover

PORT CHESTER, NY — Don't get your hopes up for having some of Port Chester's bartaco tacos in Nyack. The restaurant has decided to pull out of a deal to take over the old River Club in Rockland.

The River Club location at 11 Burd St. closed after 30 years in business in 2015, the Journal News said.

It's unknown why the agreement was ended, but Nyack village officials said it was possible bartaco's new owners didn't want to invest the money it would take to open a new restaurant.
