Comedy Comes to Crawford
LoHud Comedy Tour Arrives at Crawford Mansion, January 20, for One Night Only

Music at the Mansion is changing its name – for one night only –to Comedy at the Mansion, when Adam Oliensis and his LoHud Comedy tour take over the mansion located in Rye Brook, NY, on Saturday, January 20, 2018. The laughs begin at 8:00 pm. Tickets for this show are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. This benefit show is presented by Friends of Crawford Park and all proceeds go toward beautification of Crawford Park. Refreshments are available at the show, including beer and wine. Doors open at 7:00pm.
Former Westchester resident, Andy Pitz, will be the headliner for the evening. Andy, now based out of New York City, has been doing standup for 20 years. He has appeared numerous times on television, most notably on The Late Show with David Letterman and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. His bit focuses on “the everyday things” he’s obsessed with – his marriage, fatherhood, technology and social networking. He was also featured in Westchester Magazine in 2012. He was born and raised in Buffalo NY, and lived in Westchester for a number of years, saying, “with our cat, a dog, and a baby girl. Not to mention my wife’s mom and her boyfriend also live with us. Yeah, pretty brutal!”
Adam Oliensis will host the evening. The Journal News labeled Adam as Rockland’s King of Comedy. Thumbtack.com has named him the #1 Comedian for Hire in New York for 2015, 2016, & 2017. In his stand-up, Adam explores the lessons in humility he’s learning from his wife and especially from his children, along with the adjustments being forced on him by genuine adulthood. Having lived as a child in East Africa, studied martial arts in India, and languished spiritually in New Jersey, Adam is attuned to the absurdities that arise in the everyday, mining both the ironies and silliness that exist in the most humbling situations (with which he continues to gain vast experience, especially as a husband and a father).

Crawford Park is a 36 acre preserve located in Rye Brook, NY. Originally the estate of the Crawford family, the grounds and mansion were donated to the Town of Rye in 1971. The park has undertaken a massive renovation to make it compliant with American with Disabilities Act (ADA), including a sensory garden among other features. As of February 1, 2018, the mansion will be closed to the public as it too will be renovated to become ADA compliant. The Music at the Mansion concert series will resume in 2019.
