Don't Let The Hypodermic Needle Fall


On Sunday, January 26, 2014, Port Chester Police noticed a black Chevy Equinox at Fawcett Street and saw that the driver had a belt tied around his right arm. The police went to investigate and the car drove away. The police pulled the car over on Midland Avenue and saw two people in the car. Police saw the driver with an uncapped hypodermic needle and took the driver out of the car and saw an empty wax bag on the floor of the car, according to Lt. James Ladeairous of the Port Chester Police Department.

The passenger was patted down and a hypodermic needle fell from his pants, said Lt. James Ladeairous of the Port Chester Police Department.]

Both Mark Murphy (driver of the vehicle), 19 of 102Clover Hill Drive, Stamford, Connecticut and Jeffrey Ricci, 20 of 11 Mianus View Terrace, Cos Cob, Connecticut were charged with Criminal Possession of a hypodermic needle which is a Class A Misdemeanor.
