Free Eye Exams, Glasses For National Eyewear Day

PORT CHESTER, NY — National Eyewear Day will be recognized in Port Chester with free eye exams and glasses. Zyloware Eyewear, which is in its 95th year of business, and Optical Academy, which provides vision specialists to schools, work sites and community events, have partnered to provide eye exams and eyewear free of charge from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 6 at the Carver Center in Port Chester.

Members of the Port Chester community and surrounding area will receive free access to vision services, including a complete eye exam, vision screening and quality eyewear with each persons’ prescription. Vision services and eyewear will be available to accommodate all ages.

Organizers said you must register to attend, because space is limited.

The event will be held in the gymnasium of the Carver Center, at 400 Westchester Ave. in Port Chester.
