New York Power Authority & SUNY Purchase Announcements

The New York Power Authority (NYPA) and State University of New York (SUNY) will be announcing on Thursday, January 23, 2014 comprehensive energy efficiency projects NYPA and SUNY have undertaken and/or completed at 10 SUNY campuses in 2013 in support of Governor Cuomo’s Build Smart NY initiative.

 

 

Upgrades at SUNY Purchase will be among the energy efficiency measures highlighted.

 

NYPA and SUNY will be unveiling nearly $80 million cost-saving innovative energy efficiency projects that will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by more than 21,000 tons annually at SUNY Purchase.

 

These announcements will be at SUNY Purchase located at 735 Anderson Hill Road in Purchase, NY at 11 am. Following the announcements, a tour of a recently completed 1000-ton chiller and ice storage system on the Purchase College campus will be offered.
