NYC Cop Accused Of Having Child Porn
He was arrested at his Port Chester home Thursday.

PORT CHESTER, NY — A New York City policeman from Port Chester was accused of having child pornography. Westchester County District Attorney Anthony A. Scarpino Jr. said Thursday that John Telesca, 37, of Port Chester, was arrested at his home Thursday by the DA's Office Investigators High Technology Crime Squad.
He was charged with the following:
- Promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child, a felony
- Possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child, a felony
Telesca is a patrol officer with the New York Police Department in the Bronx.

According to prosecutors, he was found to have at least 60 images of nude children who were about 8 to 13 years old on his digital devices and that were shared through email.
Telesca was released on $5,000 bail. His next court appearance is set for Sept. 12.
