Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Car In Port Chester Identified
Police said they believed the incident was accidental.

PORT CHESTER, NY — Police have identified the pedestrian who died in Port Chester after being struck by a car Tuesday. Richard Cadigan, 61, was hit shortly before 6 p.m at the intersection of Irving Avenue and N. Regent Street.
Cadigan had been a Rye Fire Department volunteer for nearly 20 years, the Journal News said.
The driver of the car cooperated with the police, and the incident appears to be an accident, according to authorities.
