Police: Homeless Man Arrested for Stealing from Cascade Pools

A 47-year-old homeless man allegedly stole clothing and tools from Cascade Pool Services on Purdy Avenue and then fell asleep in one of their vans, according to police.

The man had allegedly put on a stolen shirt and jacket and collected about $988 worth of tools in a bag before he fell asleep at the scene of his own crime on Oct. 9 at 8:33 a.m., Police Lt. James Ladeairous said.

When employees woke him up and confronted him about the stolen clothes he said he had found them and then tried to pick up the bag of stolen tools and walk away.
