Police: Husband Arrested for Felony Burglary and Contempt of Court

A 33-year-old Port Chester man was arrested after he allegedly destroyed items in his estranged wife’s home and stole her television on Sept. 28 at 11:20 p.m., Police Lt. James Ladeairous said.

Aniel Vasquez Cega allegedly called his wife, who has an order of protection against him, and told her to “go home and see what I did.”

She found items broken and that a television and modem were missing. She reported it to police and Cega turned himself in at police headquarters on Oct. 10 at 9:07 a.m., Ladeairous said.

He was charged with burglary in the second degree, a Class C Felony and Contempt of Court, a Class E Felony.
