A Port Chester man allegedly held a kitchen knife to his wife’s throat and threatened to kill her in front of her 11-year-old child at 1:30 a.m. Thursday.
Police said the victim reported that the husband came home drunk and an argument started. He first slapped her face and when she threatened to call the police he held the knife to her throat and threatened her life. The son saw this happen and tried to help so the husband threw him across the room.
Police arrested the 29-year-old and charged him with menacing in the second-degree, unlawful imprisonment, and endangering the welfare of a child, all misdemeanors.
