Police arrested Alberto Romero-Zepeda, a 20-year-old Port Chester man, for allegedly punching his girlfriend in the mouth with a closed fist and striking her with a broken bottle causing cut and pain to her left wrist.
Police were called to the scene of the altercation on Bush Avenue on Oct. 9 at 11 p.m. where the girlfriend told them he had already left the house. Police found him walking down Poningo Street and charged him with attempted assault in the second degree, a class E Felony.Â
