Port Chester To Get Trolley Service During Summer

The trolley will allow people to park remotely and still get around the village.

PORT CHESTER, NY — Getting around downtown Port Chester this summer will be easier. The village contracted the New York Trolley Company to operate a weekend route until the fall.

The service will run Saturdays and Sunday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on a route yet to be determined, but will allow people to park remotely and still get around the village, the Journal News said.

A one-year contract costing $39,000 was signed for the service.
