Port Chester Man Accused Of Having Sex With Child
Police said the child told a friend and then her mother about the abuse.

PORT CHESTER, NY — A Port Chester man was arraigned Tuesday on charges related to committing sex acts with a child under 13 years of age. The abuse, authorities said, was over the course of six months or more.
Westchester County District Attorney Anthony A. Scarpino Jr. said Fermin Jaimes, 46, of Port Chester, was charged with second-degree course of sexual conduct against a child, a felony.
Prosecutors said Jaimes subjected the child to several acts of sexual contact on multiple occasions in the first half of 2016. The child told a friend and then her mother about the abuse.

Port Chester police arrested Jaimes Tuesday.
Bail was set at $20,000 bail or bond. Jaimes was scheduled to return to court Monday.
