Port Chester Middle School’s 'Haunted Halls' to Provide Halloween Thrills and Chills

A press release from Port Chester school district.

Port Chester Middle School teachers and parents are collaborating on a scary experience for the public this year for Halloween.  Determined to provide fun for Sound Shore fans of haunted houses, they are stepping into the gap left when Playland could no longer host its traditional Halloween fright house.

Called Haunted Halls, the Halloween event will take place at Port Chester Middle School from Thursday October 24 through Saturday October 26 from 6-10 PM.  The public is invited to attend.

There will be a haunted maze with many teacher-actors providing the scare, as well as a zombie photo shoot (with professional photographer Dawn Cortez) and outside zombie graveyard.

A “call for actors” was emailed to all PCMS staff last week and an actors’ meeting is scheduled so that planning and rehearsals can begin.  Haunted Halls is just four weeks away.  Wah-ha-ha-ha!
