Port Chester Native Celebrates Business Expansion
New Unisex Barber Shop/Salon Celebrates Grand Opening on Main Street
A press release from Golden Razer:
Jahzeel Esquivel, a 33-year resident of Port Chester has recently expanded his barber shop of 13 years, 2 Perfection, from a 100-square-foot space on Willet Avenue to a 1,500-square-foot full service salon named Golden Razor on Main Street. Esquivel held a grand opening celebration earlier this month.
In barber terms, the shop has gone from four chairs to nine chairs. Plus it now offers manicures, pedicures, massages and hairdressers for women’s cuts.
The additional services are due to his partnership with Angela Cochachi, also a Port Chester resident who owns three other salons in downtown Port Chester.
“The two shops are really like night and day,” says Jay. He opened his shop on Willet Avenue 13 years ago with his friend and mentor Roger James. They have built up a clientele from Rye, Port Chester, Greenwich and the surrounding areas.
“The business has been thriving for years but this recent move and expansion puts us on a brand new level,” Esquivel said.
