Port Chester Native Louis Nicholas Bisignan Dies at Age 65

Louis Nicholas Bisignano, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Newburgh, NY. He was born on February 25, 1948 to the late Louis J. and Concetta Covino Bisignano in Port Chester, NY. He was 65. Mr. Bisignano was raised and educated in Port Chester. He was a Coach and past Vice President of the Port Chester Midget Football League. He served for 37 years in the National Guard and held rank as a Master Sergeant. 

Loving father of Christopher and his wife Jackie, and Thomas and his wife Elizabeth. Cherished and adored grandfather of Joel, Zachary, Christopher and Gabriella. Dear brother of Lorreghta and her husband Harold Bruggemann. Beloved nephew of his great aunts Emma and Nicolina Covino. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Nicholas. 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM at the Craft Memorial Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Holy Rosary Church, Don Bosco Place, Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow St. Mary’s Cemetery, Rye Brook, NY.
