Port Chester Village Manager Resigns
The trustees will be meeting to discuss a way forward.

PORT CHESTER, NY — The village of Port Chester will be looking for a new village manager. Christopher Steers, who has been in the position for eight years, submitted his resignation Monday.
The trustees will meet in a special session Thursday to discuss a transition, the Journal News reported.
Steers started with the village in 2009 as the code enforcement director. He later served as assistant village manager and was promoted to manager in 2012.
