Rye YMCA Sponsors Coat Drive to Benefit The Sharing Shelf in Port Chester
The Y's Togetherhood Committee is organizing the initiative.

The following announcement is from the Rye YMCA:
The Rye Y’s Togetherhood Committee will hold a clothing drive for The Sharing Shelf in Port Chester.
Located in Port Chester, The Sharing Shelf is a program of Family Services of Westchester. The Sharing Shelf collects new and gently used children’s clothing for ages 0-17 for distribution through social service agencies, teachers and others to children in need at no cost.

There are two ways to get involved in this project:
1) Sign up to help promote this drive to Y members, receive donations and help empty the collection bin. This volunteer opportunity will take place at the Rye Y over several days.

2) Join us at The Sharing Shelf on Saturday, Nov. 22 from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. to sort, fold and organize clothing. (Scroll down for this option.)
