Sentence In Port Chester Arson
The home appeared to have been vacant at the time of the fire in January.
PORT CHESTER, NY — A White Plains resident will be going to jail for setting fire to a Port Chester home in January. Michael Johnson, 46, pleaded guilty in July to fourth-degree arson, a felony.
He was sentenced to one year in jail, the Journal News reported.
No one was injured in the blaze at 45 Smith St. in the village. The home appeared to have been vacant at the time of the fire.
