Stop & Shop Celebrates Grand Reopening of Port Chester Store
Remodeled Store Features a Fresh New Look, Refreshed Produce, Deli & Bakery Departments, More Freshly Prepared Foods and Curbside Pickup
Stop & Shop, a neighborhood grocer for more than 100 years, today unveiled its newly remodeled store in Port Chester, New York, located at 25 Waterfront Place. The store updates are centered around delivering fresh, healthy, and convenient options in a brighter, more modern feeling store that makes grocery shopping easier for local customers.
The Grand Reopening reveals a newly expanded produce section with a greater variety of organic and locally sourced fruit and vegetables and the addition of easy meal solutions and quick, grab-and-go meal options, including fresh sushi made fresh in-store daily. Some customers who visit the store for the grand reopening weekend from June 11th through 13th may enjoy bonus Stop & Shop GO Rewards Points™, giveaways, samples, and a pre-packaged slice of celebratory cake to take home, while supplies last.

- Stop & Shop Pickup - orders placed online at www.stopandshop.com can be picked up at the store from the comfort of your own car while a store associate delivers your order right to your trunk,
- New grab-and-go meal solutions including a new hot foods bar featuring wings, entrees and sides,
- An updated deli department that features an expanded assortment of offerings,
- A refreshed bakery department complete with delicious breads, cakes, cupcakes and other treats,
- Improved meat department with new meat service case added,
- An expanded produce assortment offering more ways to eat healthy,
- Specialty cheeses department added,
- Self-checkout added for customers convenience,
- Updated Pharmacy department - Stop & Shop’s trained and trusted pharmacists can conveniently and safely administer COVID-19 and other vaccines.
“We’re excited to share our newly remodeled store with our local shoppers,” said Rich Perez, Store Manager of Stop & Shop Port Chester. “We’ve added more of what our customers want and upgrades they need to get their shopping done faster and get back to what matters most.”
To celebrate the remodel, Stop & Shop will donate $1,000 to Meals on Main Street (MOMS) of Port Chester – a local organization that helps to eliminate food insecurity in Port Chester by bringing meals and perishable food to the neighborhoods most affected by food insecurity.
