Victor Metrano of Port Chester Dies at 91

Victor Metrano, 91, of Port Chester died September 7, 2013. He was born June 4, 1922 in Italy to the late Giovanni and Maria Costanzo Metrano.  He was a retired shipping clerk for Empire Brush Company. 

He also worked for SUNY Purchase and Westchester Country Club.  He was a parishioner of the Corpus Christi Church and a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus.  Mr. Metrano is survived by his wife Angelina (Barrese) Metrano, children John Metrano and wife Mary of Dobbs Ferry, NY., Michael Metrano and wife Patricia of Fairfield, Ct., and Denise Salvatore and husband Mauro of Port Chester, NY, brother Marcello Metrano of Italy, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30AM on Tuesday September 10, 2013 at Corpus Christi Church 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery Rye Brook, NY. There will be no visitation.
