Woman Leaves $500 in Unattended Purse While Drinking at Davy Brynes

A 29-year-old Greenwich woman told police she left her purse unattended on a chair next to the bar at Davy Brynes on Willett Avenue while she went outside to smoke cigarettes and moved around the bar, Police Lt. James Ladeairous said. At 4 a.m. when she went to pay her tab she realized her money was gone.  She said $500 in cash was missing, Ladeairous said.
