- The Village of Port Jefferson is hosting fireworks at West Beach on July 4 from 9:30 to 10:30 p.m. Viewing will be between east and west beaches. For more information, visit www.portjeff.com

- The Belle Terre Community Association is hosting a Fourth of July Picnic at Belle Terre Beach for Belle Terre residents and their guests. The picnic, which will include a fireworks display, is set to start at 6 p.m. For more information go to www.belleterre.us
Miller Place-Rocky Point:
- The Rocky Point Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6249 and the Rocky Point - Sound Beach Chamber of Commerce is hosting “A Celebration of Hometown Heroes” starting at 11 a.m. on July 4. The event will be held at the Rocky Point VFW, which is located at 109 King Rd.
- Tiki Joe’s Beach Club at Cedar Beach in Mount Sinai is hosting a Fourth of July beach party featuring music by Slingshot. It will run from 6 to 9 p.m. For more information, go to www.tikijoesbeachclub.com
