The Earl L. Vandermeulen High School boys varsity tennis team had a successful season making the team playoffs while competing in the Upper League V of Division III.
Senior Jonathan Kelsch was awarded the well-deserved Sportsmanship Award and senior Josh Gelfond was honored as an All-County player at the Suffolk County Tennis Awards. Josh, who has played a varsity top singles spot for five years, won his final high school singles match in the team playoff in an exciting third set tie-breaker victory against Southold.
