Belle Terre Residents Head To Polls Tuesday For Village Elections
Voters can cast their ballots in the race for two trustee positions at the Community Center from 12 to 9 p.m.
PORT JEFFERSON, NY — Voters in the Village of Belle Terre are heading to the polls on Tuesday to decide a three-way trustee race that includes two incumbents.
Incumbent trustee Richard V. Musto is running on the Citizens Party line with running mate Richard M. Harris. Incumbent trustee Dr. Caroline Engelhardt, who is running by herself on the Residents Party line, is also seeking to retain her seat on the board.
The seats carry two-year terms, and the candidates who take the top amount of votes will secure seats on the board, according to published reports.
