Fireworks Spectacular Over Port Jeff's West Beach

Boaters crowded the Long Island Sound between Port Jefferson and Mount Sinai Harbors as the village's fireworks show burst over West Beach on Thursday evening.

A very visible presence of police and Coast Guard boats was out on the water that night for the show that attracted sailors and pleasure boaters. For those on the water, it was a front row seat to the show for locals who could not see it from the beach. Access was also available to village residents to watch the show from East and West Beaches.
