Check out the winter weather forecast for Monday morning as well as details on a potential mid-week storm.

Snow total estimates for Long Island Monday morning have been trimmed, but forecasters are still warning of potential hazardous conditions during the morning commute.

Snow is now only expected to fall for a few hours before turning to a mix of sleet and rain early Monday. It should turn to all rain around sunrise, the National Weather Service says.

About an inch of snow is expected on the northern half of the island. The southern half should see less than an inch.
