Interact Club Wraps Holiday Cheer
Port Jefferson Interact Club members helped the Port Jefferson Rotary Club wrap hundreds of gifts for children this holiday season.

The Earl L. Vandermeulen High School Interact Club has been busy assisting those in need this holiday season.
On Dec. 9, club members, led by their advisor Deirdre Filippi, assisted the Port Jefferson Rotary Club by wrapping hundreds of holiday gifts for children, which were donated to the Social Ministry Program at Infant Jesus.
Port Jefferson Interact Club members also volunteered their time on Dec. 13 at the Port Jefferson Village Recreation Center, where they helped Janine Cline, owner of the Suffolk Center for Speech and Myofunctional Therapy, collect hundreds of gifts through a fundraiser for the Social Ministry Program. Club members welcomed guests, ran craft tables, assisted Santa with his delivery of small gifts for those in attendance and helped children get ready for a night of ice skating at the ice rink.
