Pre 2030 Comprehensive Plan study outcome

Personally I am against any highrise parking lots in our Village. The Mayor and 3 Trustees in my opinion are for it or they would not be spending our tax money in the pursuit of plans for one. I haven't heard any talk of the Traders Cove lot, could it be that it would mess up the view any worse than it is, in my opinion, from the Mayor's building that Nantuckets restaurant is located in? The Traders Cove lot is in a culdesac only 2 restaurants face it and it already has almost the same number of spaces as the Gap lot. The Gap lot is right smack dab in the middle of the business district, wide open for all to gawk at . The Traders Cove location would not create a monstrosity in the middle of the Village. Why is the Mayor pushing the Gap lot? Take a poll of resident opinion. before any more money is spent. Prior to the Village Comprehensive Plan a group of residents selected by Garant and the Trustees took a poll of a cross section of Village residents, they were against many items in the Plan including multi level parking. How many times must the residents say it? Many of us do not want a monstrosity in our Villages yard, like the elevated train tracks in Queens.
