Long Island Brady chapter: gun Violence Prevention

Jim Brady was shot and almost died when a gunman tried to kill President Reagan. But that is just the start of the story. With his wife Sarah leading the charge, they fight for the National background checks. They banged on every door in Congress, shook hands no fists, found common ground in common sense, they got the “Brady Bill” passed with bipartisan support. For over 25 years our fight has never stopped. We work across congress, courts, and communities. We unite not divide. Liberal and conservative, young and old, red and blue, and every shade of color to take action not sides. We are all Brady.. we are all united against gun violence.
