Make-A-Wish Foundation Grants Wish Of Sound Beach Teen
Make-A-Wish and the United Health Foundation granted the wish of a 14-year-old Sound Beach teen.
Through the generosity of Make-A-Wish and the United Health Foundation, Tim, a 14-year-old from Sound Beach who suffers from osteosarcoma, received a special gaming computer on July 25.
“We are very happy to play a role in making Tim’s wish come true,” said Jeff Alter, national CEO of UnitedHealthcare Employer & Individual and a board member of the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Suffolk County. “Make-A-Wish truly has a positive impact in our communities by bringing joy to so many children courageously facing life-threatening medical conditions.”
According to his wish granters, Tim chose this wish because he loves computers and video games. In fact, his favorite store is Game Stop and his favorite game is Pokemon. Tim also loves spaghetti, ice cream, Twix candy bars, gummy worms, sour patch kids, Baked Lays potato chips and mac and cheese.
