Man Critically Injured In 1-Car Port Jefferson Station Crash: PD
The driver left the road and hit a tree early Sunday morning, police say.
PORT JEFFERSON STATION, NY — A man was badly injured in a one-car crash Sunday morning in Port Jefferson Station, Suffolk police said.
Joseph Aiello, 43, of Port Jefferson Station, was driving a 2001 Nissan Maxima southbound on Jayne Boulevard when he drove off the road and struck a tree at the intersection with Roe Avenue at around 5:30 a.m., police said.
Aiello, who was alone in the car, was admitted to Stony Brook University Hospital in critical condition.
