Motorcyclist Dead In Coram Crash
A 51-year-old woman lost control of her motorcycle and crashed into a guardrail on Friday night, police say.
CORAM, NY — A woman is dead after she lost control of her motorcycle in Coram on Friday night, Suffolk police said.
The woman, 51, was riding a 2015 Harley-Davidson northbound on North Ocean Avenue, south of Mooney Pond Road, when she lost control of the motorcycle and crashed into a guardrail at 7:34 p.m., police said.
She was pronounced dead at Stony Brook University Hospital. Her identification was withheld by police pending notification of next of kin.
