let the taxpayers know

Are the rumors correct or not regarding the move of the Port Jefferson Ferry office building from its present location to the old water company building, 116 West Broadway? The talk is that the water building will have 2 stories, thus blocking harbor views for some business. Just what are the zoning, building and code restrictions for this possible location within the Port Jefferson Village footprint. Furthemore, what will become of the present property the ferry office utilizes now and what juristriction is it in, Port Jefferson Village or Town of Brookhaven. The Village administration, in my opinion has sprung "deals" they have brokered before without educating the taxpayers such as the defunct Town of Brookhave sale of the harborfront, the flim flam Barnum Ave Parking lot debacle so far costing Village taxpayers over $900,000., taking of parkland for the lot and the Shipwreck apartment recreation charge cut for no apparent reason and the inability for taxpayers to use the property.Wake up taxpayers, voters.
