Local authorities are seeking the public's help with identifying and locating a man who stole a laptop at John T. Mather Memorial Hospital in Port Jefferson. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers are looking for the man who stole a laptop and laptop case that was left unattended at a coffee shop inside the hospital. The theft occurred on February 28 between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. and the suspect may have been visiting someone in the Emergency Room that day.  Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are offering up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. If you have information on the identities or location of these individuals, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
