Police Seeking Wallet Thief

Local authorities are looking for a woman who stole a wallet left on a Waldbaum's counter.

Local authorities are seeking the public’s help with identifying and locating a woman who stole a wallet from a grocery store in Rocky Point last month.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are looking for a woman who stole a wallet that was left on a checkout counter at Waldbaum’s located at 245 Route 25A on July 22 at around 4:30 p.m. The woman was with an adult male and two children and fled in a vehicle that was described as possibly a light-colored SUV.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are offering up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. If you have information on the identities or location of these individuals, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
