Port Jeff Musicians Perform at NYSSMA Festival

Nearly 250 Port Jefferson student-musicians performed at the annual New York State School Music Association Solo and Ensemble Festival held at Centereach High School on May 15 and 16.

The students each performed a solo selection and scales for a NYSSMA adjudicator, who assessed them on their performance based on technique, precision and musicality.

The Port Jefferson School District applauds the music students for their hard work and dedication.
