Port Jefferson Mayor, Trustees Re-elected Tuesday
Mayor Margot Garant, trustees Stanley Loucks and Kathianne Snaden, and Justice John F. Reilly were re-elected.

PORT JEFFERSON, NY — Voters in the village of Port Jefferson re-elected the mayor, two trustees and a justice in Tuesday’s election, according to a village spokeswoman.
Mayor Margot Garant defeated challenger Barbara Ransome 913 to 513 votes, handily securing another two-year term.
Incumbent trustees Stanley Loucks and Kathianne Snaden earned 930 votes and 936 votes, respectively. Dr. Suzanne Velasquez garnered 552 votes.

Justice John F. Reilly ran unopposed for a four-year term, garnering 869 votes.
