Port Jefferson Residents Head To Polls Tuesday For Elections
Voters can weigh in at the Village Center from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. to decide the posts of mayor, two trustees and the village justice.
PORT JEFFERSON, NY — Voters in the Village of Port Jefferson are heading to the polls on Tuesday to elect a mayor, two trustees, and a village justice.
Mayor Margot Garant is being challenged for another two-year term by Barbara Ransome.
Incumbent trustees Stanley Loucks and Kathianne Snaden are facing off against Dr. Suzanne Velasquez for two, two-year terms on the Board of Trustees. The candidates who take the top amount of votes will secure seats on the board.

Justice John F. Reilly is running unopposed for a four-year term.
Voters can cast their ballots at the Village Center from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
