Port Jefferson Schools Create Daily Bulletin for Parents

Beginning Wednesday, parents of students in the Port Jefferson School District can receive a daily bulletin from the district, outlining school events, key dates and important information. 

The bulletin is a feature of the parent portal, where parents can log on and view the bulletin or they can opt to have it emailed to them.

The new feature was designed to enhance and expand communication according to Assistant Principal Christine Austen, who helped coordinate the effort. Parents can choose how often they want to receive the bulletin when they sign up.

“The bulletin can apply to all your children in the schools. Parents can enter multiple email address and adjust the frequency of communication,” said Austen.
