UPDATED: Missing Port Jefferson Station Man Found OK

The man was found unharmed, Suffolk police said Tuesday afternoon.

UPDATED 2:45 p.m.: Donald Harrison, 62, of Port Jefferson Station, was found unharmed, Suffolk police said on Tuesday afternoon. He had been reported missing on Monday night.

PORT JEFFERSON STATION, NY — A silver alert was issued for a missing Port Jefferson Station man who has dementia and might need medical attention, Suffolk police said.

Donald Harrison, 62, left a home on Route 112 in Port Jefferson Station at 8:15 p.m. Monday. Harrison is white, 5 feet 11 inches, 200 pounds with graying hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a grey sweatshirt.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on Harrison’s location to call 911 or the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652.

Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
