Port Jefferson Student Earns All-State Honors
Hailey Hearney, a junior, was awarded for her success in girls soccer.
From Port Jeff Schools: Earl L. Vandermeulen High School student-athlete Hailey Hearney was awarded the honor of Class B, fourth team All-State for girls soccer. A junior, Hailey was also honored last year for her efforts on the soccer field with third team accolades. In addition to playing multiple high school sports for Port Jefferson, Hailey participates year-round in soccer clinics, showcases, tournaments and travel teams.
“Hailey’s commitment and dedication to advancing her craft make us all proud of her efforts,” athletic director Adam Sherrard said. “She is always looking to improve her skills. The Royals are looking forward to her helping to lead the Port Jefferson girls soccer team again next season.”
