Port Jefferson Students Perform at Mid-Island Band Festival

Four Earl L. Vandermeulen High School band students recently participated in the 57th annual Mid-Island Band Festival, which was held at Patchogue-Medford High School.

During the event, Port Jefferson students Andreya Harvey, Calla Kelley-Renda, David Moir, and Lara Sarubbi performed along with musicians from Miller Place, Sayville, Patchogue-Medford, Hauppauge and West Islip school districts. The evening concluded with a performance conducted by guest conductor Peter Randazzo, who is an adjunct instructor at Suffolk County Community College
