Port Jefferson Trio Honored For Success On Soccer Field
Varsity girls soccer players from Earl L. Vandermeulen High School were honored for their soccer accomplishments.

PORT JEFFERSON, NY — Three Earl L. Vandermeulen High School varsity girls soccer players were honored at the 2019 Suffolk County Girls Soccer Coaches Association Awards Dinner recently held at Villa Lombardi’s in Holbrook.
Hailey Hearney was honored as an All-County player, as she finished as the second-highest goal scorer (23) and overall points leader (30) in Suffolk County. Reese Koban and Abigail Rolfe were each recognized as All-Division players for their all-around stellar play throughout the season.
"We congratulate these players for their success on the field and for bringing pride to our school district and athletic program," said Adam Sherrard, director of health, physical education and athletics.
