Long Island Schools With Coronavirus Cases: Full List

COVID-19 cases have been reported at more than 90 Long Island schools so far this school year.

LONG ISLAND, NY — Long Island schools have been open for nearly two months now and there have been COVID-19 cases reported in nearly 100 schools.

Some schools with cases have shut down for a day or two, others have had classrooms self-quarantine, while others have done contact tracing for people who were in close contact with the infected person. One school was forced to close for more than a week after a staff member in "unique position that requires contact with virtually every child in the school" contracted the virus.

The state has created a "COVID-19 Report Card" website where people can search for cases by school or district. Listed below are the Long Island schools that have reported at least one COVID-19 case so far this school year. We are not including cases reported before the start of in-person learning. Click the links for more info on each case.
