Sofia Cutrone, Of South Setauket, Dies

Sofia "Sandy" Cutrone, of South Setauket, died on Thurs., Jan. 31.

She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Cutrone. Devoted mother of Nicholas (Mary) Cutrone, Camille (Andrew Krantz) Holubar, John (Lorena) Cutrone, Marisa (Peter) Ouzounian, Michelle (Ron) Van Duyne and Anthony (Becky) Cutrone. Cherished grandmother of Margarete Bane, the late Martin Holubar, Nicole Holubar, Christine Merolle, Brian Van Duyne, Lauren Ouzounian, Kyle Van Duyne, Samantha Cutrone, Jaclyn Ouzounian, Frank Cutrone, Samantha Krantz, Katherine Cutrone, Jack Cutrone and John Cutrone. Proud great grandmother of four. Loving sister of Jack (Gerry).

Reposing at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Bethpage Funeral Home, 20 Hicksville Road (1-mile north of Southern State Parkway, Exit 29). A Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian burial, Saturday 11:00 am at St. Boniface Martyr Church, Sea Cliff. Visiting Friday 3-5 & 7-9:30 pm. Family requests no flowers however.
