St. Charles Hospital To Host Blood Drive In Port Jefferson
The blood drive is scheduled for next week. The coronavirus has created a deficit between the blood needed and what's being donated.
PORT JEFFERSON, NY — St. Charles Hospital, based in Port Jefferson, is slated to host a blood drive on March 17 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The drive would be in the Wisdom Conference Center.
The coronavirus pandemic has created a "chronic deficit" between what is needed and current blood donations, according to the hospital.
