Storms May Impact Wednesday Morning Commute
The potential for a waterspout/weak tornado near the immediate coast will need to be monitored, the National Weather Service says.

Heavy rain and thunderstorms could make a mess of Wednesday morning commute, especially for those who hit the road early.
The heaviest rainfall will develop around midnight, the National Weather Service says. Up to a half-inch of rain with higher amounts possible in thunderstorms is expected to fall on the island. The bulk of the rain should be gone by 6-7 a.m., but the chance of rain and thunderstorms will continue through the afternoon.
" It is possible that any thunderstorms that develop have weak rotation, so the potential for a waterspout/weak tornado near the immediate coast will need to be monitored," the NWS said in a forecast discussion Tuesday night.
