Theatre Three In Port Jefferson Due To Reopen In July
Comedy shows and the run of a musical will set the stage for the theatre's return. It had been closed since March 2020 due to the pandemic.

PORT JEFFERSON, NY — The stage is set for the return of Theatre Three in Port Jefferson.
The theatre, at 412 Main St., is set to reopen July 9 with two nights of the Long Island Comedy Festival, according to its website. Then, from July 16 through Aug. 15, Theatre Three will run "The Fantasticks," a musical created by Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones based on "Les Romanesques" by Edmond Rostand.
The 8 p.m. July 9 lineup for the comedy show features Paul Anthony, Stevie GB, Rich
Walker, Carie Karavas, and Joe Starr. The 8 p.m. Saturday showing will see Anthony, Leighann Lord, Rob Falcone, and Joe DeVito take the stage. A special surprise guest comedian is slated to appear on Saturday, according to the theatre.

Tickets for both the comedy shows and "The Fantasticks" are set to go on sale on May 4. To get yours, you can call the box office from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at 631-928-9100.
The theatre had been closed since March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, Newsday reported.
