Wahlburgers In Port Jefferson Station Closes
The burger joint had been in the community since 2016 and was the lone Long Island location.

PORT JEFFERSON STATION, NY — Wahlburgers, a chain specializing in burgers and frappes, officially closed its Port Jefferson Station store Sunday. It was at 4837 Nesconset Highway.
"To our Port Jefferson Wahlburgers fans: Our Wahlburgers location in Port Jefferson has served its final burger," the restaurant posted on Facebook. "Thank you for all the love since we opened our doors in 2016!"
The chain added it hopes to serve the Port Jefferson community in the future at its other restaurants. According to its website, the Port Jefferson Station Wahlburgers was the only one of its kind in New York. Wahlburgers is in 18 states and three countries other than the United States, the nearest locations being New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.

Wahlburgers served a variety of gourmet burgers, sandwiches, macaroni and cheese, salads, alcoholic frappes, cocktails and craft beer.
